Wilde Signs was reffered to an ownership group in the process of building a brand new c-store near Grand Valley State University. They were a few months of from completion of their building and they wanted a sign company to help them design, manufacture and install their complete store signage. They knew they wanted a classy, high end look that would appeal to college students, as they were going to offer a large selection of hot & fresh food items.

Their store design consisted of black trim & fixtures surrounding grey walls, faux wood paneling and subway tiling.  With this in mind we designed a store layout consisting of a comination of 12″ die-cut sintra headers, with vinyl lettering subtext. We rotated between White and black letters, depending on wall color & wether the text was the main verbiage, or subtext.  The 12″ die-cut letters were attached using VHB tape and add a really high end dimensional look.

INTERIOR SIGNAGE

• We routed dimension lettering headers to space throughout the store including above the coolers and also above the fountain drink machines.
• We had a lot of vertical space to work with above the beer cooler, so we installed a large bottle cap shaped sign with “Beer” routed out of the center.
• We created a dimensional Restroom sign that is flagmounted to the hallway wall where the restroom entrance is.
• We mounted dimensional signs on top of the pastries case, as well as on their cappuccino machine.
• We mounted a large LED screen above their kitchen that displays a video menu loop.

EXTERIOR SIGNAGE

• We installed a monument sign on a cement slab and added graphics to the sign skirt with their name and logo.
• We installed reflective vinyl lettering along the tops of their windows advertsing Food, Liquor, Atm etc.
• We manufactured and installed 2 custom backlit signs featuring the store name and logo.
• We installed pump toppers and risers on each pump island.
• We installed vinyl lettering above their main store entrance featuring their store name and logo.
• We did a partial vehicle wrap on their supply van featuring food images and branding.

This was a really fun project to be involved with and the final product looked great. It gave us a chance to work our creative muscles in a fun way. So many store owners cut corners to save a few bucks when it comes to store design/signage, not realizing that the R.O.I for quality signs can be huge.

We were happy to help the owners of M45 do it the right way… and they are reaping the benefits as we speak!
